Firstly, thank you for choosing itsFibre – we’re excited to have you on board. Here are some tips if you need help setting up your brand-new router, which has already been pre-configured. All you need to do is connect it and you’re ready to go.
Local support
We have a local and friendly support team based in Norwich, they are constantly monitoring the system to make sure you receive the best service possible.
Getting started:
- Plug in the supplied power lead to the router.
- Connect the network cable from the blue WAN port on the router to the LAN port on your ONT (the wall-mounted fibre box).
- Press the power switch on both the ONT and the router to turn them on.
Connecting your devices:
Look for the Wi-Fi name and password printed on the base of your router – that’s what you’ll use to connect your devices.
- 2.4GHz gives you a longer range with speeds up to 70 Mbps.
- 5GHz offers faster speeds (above 70 Mbps) over a shorter range.
Need to reboot the router?
Simply switch it off, wait 10 seconds, and switch it back on. That usually fixes most connection issues.
